From July 19 to 25, 2024, the "Into the Wonderful World of Mathematics" Summer Science and Technology Camp sponsored by the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University was held at Chaoyang School, Tsinghua High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University. 39 students from Tsinghua High School Affiliated Group schools and matching support schools participated in the one-week activity。

On July 19, New high school sophomore students from all over the country with a strong interest in mathematics arrived at Chaoyang School of Tsinghua High School to register, receive the materials needed during the activity and move into the dormitory smoothly。

On the night of registration, the head teacher held a class meeting and arranged for the students to introduce themselves, so that everyone could quickly get to know each other and better integrate into the big family。At the same time, the head teacher stressed the relevant matters for attention during the activity to the students, and briefly explained the course arrangement in the later period, so as to make adequate preparation for the course learning。

During the activity, the school set up interesting and exploratory mathematics courses for students, leading students into the mathematical world and appreciating the infinite charm of mathematics。Qi Yachao's "Elementary Number Theory Preliminary" explores the practical application of division and congruence;Yin Qitao's "Two-Person Strategy Game" uses mathematical thinking to find the way to win;Yan Zhicun's Artificial Intelligence- Rote Learning "The charm of calculus and linear algebra;Liu Jiaoyang's Game Theory discovers the infinite possibilities of mathematics。This activity course is taught by frontline teachers of Tsinghua High School. Students explore mathematical principles in the game, find mathematical fun in the interaction, and constantly stimulate their interest in mathematics learning。

Exploring the wondrous world of mathematics is a journey of infinite imagination and discovery. Between numbers and formulas, the beauty of logic, the charm of abstraction and practical application are perfectly combined。After a few days of study, the students learn in inquiry, think in study, and make progress in thinking, which not only opens up mathematical thinking, but also realizes the realistic charm of mathematics in daily life。They all said that they benefited a lot from this math study, and the activity not only improved the innovative thinking and practical ability, but also enriched the subject knowledge。

In spare time, the students spontaneously organized a basketball friendly match。On the court, every player tried his best, whether it was accurate shooting, flexible dribbling, tacit cooperation, tenacious defense, all showed the students' enterprising sportsmanship。The students encouraged and supported each other, and formed a deep friendship in the competition。

On the last day of the activity, the class organized a wonderful debate contest。To clarify the reason, increase the depth of cognition in the refutation;In order to talk about the right words, exercise the expression ability in the dispute;To promote learning with competition, improve the thinking ability in the competition, the students never stopped thinking in the passionate debate, never afraid to express。
